Reinvention is the Mother of Rejuvenation

Updated on November 25, 2014

New again!

Beginning again is such a profound thought but scary to so many. However, it can be necessary and refreshing while some see it as a sign of failure that they didn’t get it right the first time. Seeing things in a more positive way allows us to move forward. Starting over doesn’t mean not moving forward as a matter of fact it is just that. It is a way to see clearer and remove the cobwebs. Don’t allow negative talk or thinking and discouraging words to detain you from doing what could be considered cleansing and therapeutic.

Getting back to the basics so to speak is also a form of evolution and growth. As a writer I’ve had many monikers and pen names and the reason being is because it was rejuvenating for me and also because I felt like after a period there was a type of elevation in my writing style. In self-celebration there was a call for something to change. I also feel one can never stop growing and to say I’m at the top of my game at my talents means never experiencing the feeling of renewal which is a feeling I never want to lose. Not to say one isn’t supreme at what they do but always making room for expansion.

I just finished my first semester of my teacher education. I have worked in the medical sciences for almost eighteen years. I need to reinvent, the time has come. I also feel I have found a new passion in writing that I find refreshing. Thank you for your hub. Jamie
