Remember The Day (limerick)

Updated on September 14, 2013

Remember the night that we met

And all of the dreams that we set

Said heaven on earth

Who lost all her mirth

So why did my birthday forget

No matter whatever we do or say,

We want folks to remember our birthday.

P.S. Just re-checked that story...he actually didn't even do that, but upon checking, said that she would have been grateful for even that much....the mind boggles.

Recently heard a story of a a woman who was in a long-term relationship being greeted with ' Happy Birthday ', written on a napkin....that was it. What a b*st*rd. Sad, but true.

      Bad boy!! Very bad boy!!

I have remained friends with my ex-husband.

One Saturday, on my birthday, my husband and teen son both forgot

my birthday. They did not realize it until I got a Birthday Call from my ex-husband.

Pretty bad when the ex- remembers, but the husband forgets.

Of course, I rode that pony for years. Ha, ha

Great Limerick, Martin!! You keep us entertained with your many talents. Thank you!
