Restoration and Deliverance

Updated on June 29, 2014

Deliver me from this oppression

To raise my head

Looking towards you.

In the enemy's stronghold,

From victory,

I have tumbled so quickly.

Now playing a devil's game,

Destroying and trapping with deceit.

O save me; hear my prayer!

Restore me to tell others

Of you enduring mercy.

You are the only giver of grace.

I am desperate to be bathed in your grace.

My bones are weary from

Struggle in the rebellion of disgust.

Carry me, Lord, through these

Times of challenge.

Hold me, Jesus.

Deliver me for others to behold

The mighty works of your hand

To know you are the

Almighty King.

This is a humble prayer and one that we must be honest enough to say when we have commited wrongful actions against God. Great message.

This is like a psalm. It's nice when prayers are turned into poems. Well done.
