Review: The Magic of Friendship
When it comes to books, I’m a bookworm. Ever since I was a young girl, I will always be in my room reading a book after school and during my summer break. I have always taken the time to read a book or two since this day.
As a parent I wish to pass that down to my two boys. I know the importance of reading a book to my 3 & 5 year old. I read to them daily, especially before bedtime. It’s how I like to end the day with them because in every book, it holds a different lesson to its story. This is also the best way to help them with developing their reading skills and grow a kind of love towards books.
So when I was sent The Magic of Friendship book for free to review, I thought it would be a great book to read to them. I like that in the beginning of the story it identifies each and every character that is part of the story along with their names. This made it easy for my boys to remember while the story unfolded. Although, the names were indeed hard to pronounce, it wasn’t a reason for them to lose interest while reading to them.
The illustration of the book has beautiful bright colors. I notice how well it caught my two boys attention. It left them gazing into each and every details of the picture, especially knowing that they both love the arts.
“The Magic of Friendship” is such an awesome storybook that teaches kids about friendship. It’s why I wanted to share with you my review on this book just in case you have children or know of a parent that will enjoy reading this book to their little one. I will even recommend it to any teacher that can apply it during their reading session in class – its the best way to engage a conversation with the students.
