Ringing the Bell

The great bell is ringing, a warning for all to hear,
Is a time of paying attention, of ours not to fear,
The wise, all have gone, no more are now here,
Foolish ones now waste all that we hold so dear.
Every days hours are fleeting, soon to be gone,
As the terrible spoils are only left to be shown.
All the while the worst, over time, to have grown.
Those to care, each silenced, now stand all alone.

The widest of oceans have all been so polluted,
the precious creatures wiped out, to die below.
The beautiful coral reefs are all perishing now,
Once such a grandest earth, a death to bestow.
The stars will always to twinkle in the nighttime sky,
A guardian moon shall watch over its only brother.
The bright sun will shine in the bluest of sky days,
As poor creatures to remain, comfort one another.

Just who is so responsible for this wanton waste,
What right did they have to take away from us all?
Our creator has provided enough for all the people,
No reason or purpose in this wonderful world to fall.
As the masses to suffer, without any answers to give,
The remains of this planet, is a shelter, for all to live.
We must ring the warning bell, tell all who will listen,
There's a limit in this world, of its renewal proposition.

Everyday is fleeing, what sad times we're seeing,
Ring the bell, ring the bell, the time is late...ring the bell...
Every precious hour, climb the highest bell tower,
Let it be known to all, before the greedy devour...ring the bell.

Keep ringing that bell, whonu!
Thanks for taking the lead in ringing the bell. We really ought to pay attention and show appreciation for the handiwork of our Creator.
Most inspirational and so true the world must wake up and start to realize that it's time to unit and time to care and understand.
A great wake-up call to do something about the way we treat our environment and ignore or exploit the wonderful world that God created for us to enjoy. I love the way that you have written it in poetry form, too.
