Rolling With The Punches

Updated on June 13, 2012

Taking A Beating

It can look like a blood bath but it won't last

You have bounced me around and backed into every corner

Now blocking every punch is the only thing I can say I do well

My knees are shaking and my body is exhausted

I will not quit

My left eye has a gash the blood won't stop bleeding

Blurred vison and lack of common sense

I take all my energy just to hold myself up

Knees buckling and my eyes shutting

Keep trying to see how this will all work out

Curiosity may have killed the cat

All I can say is I am not done yet

Hope your day gets better soon. I know what you described and there are days it takes all we've got to get through. Happier days are around the corner!

When I feel down I try to put my feelings into words that describe my pain. Then I take all my gusto to snap out of it.Thanx for reading and understanding.
