Rubber Band

Updated on November 18, 2014

Love is like a rubber band held with both ends by two
When one leaves it hurt

---To I am hurt by love…where I been mistreated…
Not once but twice…throw me in a dungeon where I burn to my death
Buried in a quicksand…my whole body compress…

-------click, crack the sound of crushed bones….

-------squirt, splash the sound of blood splattered…

----crushed ribs…punctured my every organ…

Buried lifelessly in such gruesome death
By the hand of a man she once called her lover…

-----------a rubber band snap when one leaves--------

Voted up and awesome. Yeah I know what it's like to get struck by a rubberband. Painful as is love. Hang in there better days are coming.

You've painted a picture that definitely shows the pain and desolation you can feel when a relationship goes bad, you've left nothing to the imagination...the pain is there! I voted this up and awesome.

Very insightful piece. Love could be a scary thing, it could be painful and overwhelming and on the other hand beautiful and exciting.

      Keep well.

Creepy is right, so creepy I'll be looking forward to Chanroth's next article with the hope that it is not this scary.

      I sure hope she's 'ok'.
