Ruminations of a Black Rose

Updated on January 26, 2011

Caged

energy raging

trapped inside

unknown

looking out with stranger's eyes

but still strange to them

not authentic though

biting his tongue

pulling his hair

not finding kindreds here

knowing he is capable

sitting not his thing

more used to prowling

needing movement to think

believing in the future

believing in the present

unsure in both

afraid to be afraid

no blood on him for his fellows to sense

afraid not to respect the truth

in a space where truth may be relative

if existing at all

method above result respecting

not sure what the truth is

for the first time
