#9 Poem Celebrating National Poetry Month

SAPS of TIME....

Meniscus wobbling

Manuka gold shines Eureka

Ants glued and entombed

Gravity pulls bass

sombre timbre notes

Barking Owl screeches

Crunching footsteps hush

Manuka gold pools zero

Honey possums caught

Barn Owl circles to swoop

Run honey possums, run

Meniscus wobbling

Manuka Gold

Sometimes the details of everyday living can be over consuming. Writing poetry is one way we can step out of the grind and fly away for a moment in time.

Loved this set--I thought at first of amber --and how we get caught in our daily stuff--sometimes forever

Hi there whonu. The creative arts is wonderfully subjective which leans to offer all of us a varied amount of perceptions. Poetry is no different. That's why it is so intriging to me. PS the news we had about your country and the missiles together with Russia's stance, this evening? Its seriously grim news. Frightening, in fact.
