Move back a bit and let me breathe

You need not be so near

Must you crowd my aura so?

There’s plenty room in here

That feeling of entrapment all about

Surrounded yet all alone

Overcome with the need to panic

How long will this go on?

A thousand miles away in another land

Can you feel my presence near?

Is there any comfort for you within?

Do I quell your fear?

A cold, dark void far beyond the earth

Silent, still, never a change

Will it ever be less than different?

Or will it always seem strange?

My heart needs room to beat again

To regain its loving sway

Must you rush forth so excited?

Can you not wait a day?

To heal my heart and again return

And trust love once again

Smiling with joy and happiness

Erasing tracks where tears have been

To move on to greener pastures

And find new dreams of hope

Overjoyed with a sense of adventure

And brave enough to cope

Little ticking moment going past

The ticking duration of regret

How long are we to endure it?

Does the clock ever reset?

To start the healing and mend the damage

Find new love down life lanes

Living real life in all its fullness

Free of all the hurts and pains

I also meant to tell you, the YouTube video attached here is disabled. The purple heart ballons are, however, beautiful!

And yet another dimension of everybody's favorite flying cowboy! Space and time - 2 abstract concepts that you breathed life and love into. Thanks!!

@saddlerider1...Ken, I think this one came from way back in my past...some buried emotions of long ago that finally surfaced. Writing has allowed me to vent some of those. It's good therapy...amazing what is there in those dusty files if we just let it come forth. Thanks for your commments...always spot on! WB

I don't think there is not one of us who has not felt time and space in many areas of our lives. I know for the past 15 years my time and space was at times very painful.

Yet healing, as TIME heals all, although it leaves scars. Yet one can not go backwards, we have to always go forward with the hope that we will regain the SPACE we need again to live and regain back TIME we lost. Good writing my friend, you nailed it.

A man who recognizes that time and space are the most important ingrediants in healing, or a man of flight who spent too much time in the airplanes looking at space. LOL nice poetry Wayne!

Time and space worded like the ebb and flow of a hearts single beat -- Very nice Wayne - many images here. Thank you for sharing this poem.

Nice poem Wayne. To me this is just a journey of life's ups and downs, pain and healing, love and hurt. The poem flowed so nice and brought a lot of images to me. Thx

The healing power sought in your verse can only come from the Lord who can heal your soul.
