Poem: "It Is what It Is" Hear this song.

Updated on December 22, 2011

I dreamt

that life was

not as difficult

As many of us

makes It out

to be.

I believe that

he who have

Eyes

Will sooner or

later

Come around

to see

After all

we are all

The same

humans

Living as

One big

happy family/

I dreamt

that my Mom

came to me

reminding me

That Donkeys

Will always

eventually

Get to where

horses

roam free.

I dream

that this life

I am carrying

Though it is

my own

Giving thanks

for living

Is still

the most

beautiful

That I can

Show

my Gratitude

Which will

no doubt be

the fuel that

would take me

to that place

where those

who are

Responsible

for my

presence here

Have already

Passed.

There are no

short cuts

on this road

Everyone

Must climb

those

very same steps

There are those

who will choose

to continue

following

The main River.

There are those

who will rebell

Act selfish

Go their own

way

Taking that

wayward path

Acting like that

lonely tributary

or stream

Who also

broke the line.

Using hopes

And dreams

With pains

and screams

When they

Find out i

Later in time

Knowing only

Then

That their

journey

Just became

a dream.

Only a fool

Will test

the hands

of time

Daring life

Selfishly

peeking curious

to know

What happens

later

You can either

die quickly

Or cut a way

back

To that original

body of water.

Which is where

You are supposed

to be.

No one man is

an island

An Island can’t

grow

On its own

It forever belong

to the bigger

country

To whose

umbilical cord

He is joined

From whence

he came.

A stream’s

not a river

Just a wayward

traveler

Who will soon

become a pool

Selfishly

he strays

Senselessly

becoming

A lost fool

The wisdom

that comes

with every life

Could be

Similarly compared

To the millions

of bees

Which swams

every hive

The bees

They will say

stronger

in numbers

I dream that

one good turn

deserves

As many

as it takes

To yield another

Even greater

Turn.

We must all

Stop being

ungrateful

By trying

To pretend.

Put on a fake

All any man

must remind

himself

Is that sometimes

on this lonely

road of life

When trouble

arises

The first name

he cries out to

The first hope

that comes

to mind

Is not our wives

But the one

whose help

We realize is

unconditional

No strings attached

See how

Even the mighty

rivers

Must its wary legs

In the bussom

Of her brother

The mightier lake.

It's no mistake

when overflowing

he cries out

As he regurgitates

as his tears

Are now racing

all around

Those who are

now victims

of his anger

Have suddenly

all desperate

seeking Help

Now seemingly

happy,

It appears

the turmoil is

over

And everyone

can possibly rest

But here comes

the sun

He said slow!

It's not as yet

time to go

There’s is one

last test

Since no one

cares

That I am

burning up here

And I need water.

Got any to share?

The ocean said:

Well what you

propose?

The Sun said

Evaporation

of course

And so

they went on

For centuries

It was meant

to be

Obey the ways

That stood from

creation

Evolution too!

If that's what

works for you

One fell soup

So let it all start

again.

The most frozen

Ice

Does everything

in it's power

To start melting

as soon as

it can..

The most

vicious heat

Is dying

just to get to

some water

Forever threatening

To cancel

Each other out

But brave enough

to say

to each other

better

shut your mouth.

They were created

only to keep

each other

balanced.

The sun itself

is dying inside

He will

eventually

run from himself.

Likewise

The youngest

in everything

Is simply dying

to get old

Letting old man

Age's to allow

His true secrets

to unfold

Mankind's is also

aware

That there is

a wicked Devil’s

just waiting.

He won't hesitate

at any chance

To gobble up

a few new souls.

The longest

day

has already

ended

Forever consumed

each night

The race

is never for the

swift

Because the day

is always waiting

To hand the night

Hi lighted gift.

Since time began

the battle

been raging

Where the both

of them

will forever

and always win

their fight.

In the dead

of each night

When the moon

shines bright

And the sun

refuses to shine

But at the first

sign of light

When the moon

looses his sight

The sun blesses

embraces the day

With his long

Impending light.
