Satin Dreams (poem)

Updated on November 1, 2015

Soft satin dreams calls lovers to explore

A paradise set drifting by their mood

Which even tender kisses won’t elude

This chance to bask in passion on your shore

-

To float in satin dreams there by your side

And hold you as imaginations soar

Through feelings which we never knew before

As songs of lovers rush to join our glide

-

Though heated winds may test our satin dreams

As they withstand the rush beneath a tide

For in the storm of glory we now ride

What once was true is no more as it seems

-

A world was made for lovers to conclude

In hearts of lovers wishes find their streams

What fantasies are sewn up in those seems

Which satin dreams are waiting to exude
