Saving your Touch

Updated on March 21, 2016

Poetry is the food of the soul. It's my greatest contribution to the world and an area I can always grow.

My collection immense

Each unique in my memory

Unadulterated and pure

Tender caresses under blankets

Deep release from heavy toil

Subtle fingertips dance

Electrifying every sinew

Strength in time of sorrow

Warmth like a babies wrap

Tracing dripping perspiration

Resting while asleep

When senses are shared

Amongst unselfish lovers

None more revealing

Than two converging to touch

Never the same

Yet always the same

Retained in the soul

In pieces or in whole

Those moments when

Two became one

My wife is my muse, she inspires me to write and supports me in every way, as I do her...soul mates

What a sweet loving & thoughtful husband. You have MY vote!! I just know your wife floats on a cloud. Hearing things like this totally restores my faith in loving relationships.....something we seem to be watching drift away. Devotion needs to come back into fashion..:)

I write more love poems to my wife than anything else - like weekly

Awww.....Ralphie boy (LOL).....I am so moved by your softer side. Well OK, maybe my choice of words isn't exactly correct......your more "tender" side. Yeah, that's better.

Actually...your poem is extremely "sensitive" and I'm quite impressed.

My Dad wrote exquisite love poems to my mother (that my sister and & I were not suppose to see)....I can fully appreciate the heart & soul you put into your poetry. Very very beautiful.

Wow it's brilliant. I loved the ending, which goes like this "Two became one".
