A Revealing

Icy blades of winter's death,

cuts across the lands.

with chilling breath, freezes all,

grips, like iron bands.

When Spring is born, new life comes,

buds of colors, laced.

spread as carpets, shades of greens,

old scenes are replaced.

Summer rolls in, like thunder,

trees to grace in shades.

warning sun to bathe the fields,

shadowing the glades.

Autumn calls, with moonlight nights.

As a cooling breeze,

changing leaves on all the trees,

bright colors, to please,

The four seasons of our lives,

All in one, the plan,

A fine life for all to thrive,

This we understand.

Dimensions of a grand kind,

each given this gift,

Precious memories of our minds,

As the winds, to lift.

Interesting write! You capture the feel of the seasons, but the first stanza is especially gripping

      Hi Whonu,

Such lovely haiku poetry depicting all the seasons so beautifully and serene. Your paintings and photos are amazing as always and fit perfectly together with your revealing words of each season. You always choose the most interesting titles for your hubs. Voted Way up.

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Covers the seasons very well, and I agree with Audrey about the first stanza too.
