Secret - Revealed

Updated on October 29, 2017
Source

thou have a secret,
can share, nor hide ?

at its mercy, you are,
meditate or mediate,
keep it or reveal it,
mend it or mind it.

though is consuming,
thou art conserving,
this useless emotion,
isn't that reckless driving.?

aren't such event,
part of everyone,
few or just one?

let it bite,
or tear it to bits,
by changing habits,
figure a way out.

so stall this and carry on,
a journey to new horizon.

knowing, that days aren't forever bleak,
that life can bestow fresh outlook,
take up a cause,
so thou forget self.

measure results,
evaluate, contemplate,
forgive, forget.

Thank you Tamara for liking the poetry. Neither revelation nor hiding it helps. The secret of success is to move on.

Secrets are sacred sometimes but most are inhibitions and shy games. Forgive and Forget is best, and sometimes hurt is so deep we can forgive, but not forget!

      Another humane stuff from you,Hari

thanks maramerce for visiting. you are right only the one who is facing the heat can know the burn. but if one lets other causes to inspire, then our own thoughts would not matter, slowly and automatically we will forget. (may or maynot forgive though).

Pet peeve when people tell you to forgive and forget. I just feel like that's not up to anyone except the person who has been hurt. It can be a very hurtful thing, adding insult to injury, to force forgiveness before it is time for the victim. Just saying.

Thanks lisa. Me too have none but most people have. That could be because of our own society which is not accomodative to minor character discrepancies we all have. if we accept it then we are free. Need not worry or keep secrets. so I think to do so one has to work for a bigger cause, so the thoughts get polished and one can see a better world, unlike the present where secrets are needed to survive the hypocrisies surrounding.

Powerful lesson on the fear and courage of saying it out loud and releasing the secret. Brilliant, moving, love it. Two thumbs up, sharing.
