Seeing Beauty Through Fractured Light

Updated on March 31, 2012

playing around the room

bits of Noah's promise

shatter gloom

but as light is shattered too

tinkling titters

fairies in the wind

blowing and chiming

in time with heated sand

that burns clear

in the burning it refracts

scattering happiness

for those who observe

watching the play

returning to innocence in mind

to marvel at the simple facts

and realities that run riot

wherever physics pleases

nothing ill in this display

lack of focus I would say

but for that lack

rest is often gained

and a smile is brought

perhaps that is all the point

such moments have to give

yet, at times

it speaks of how we aught to give

and live life in abundance

frivolity in generocity

leaving no crevice within our reach

dark and gloomy

shadowed by grim speach

though as to that atimes there is point

but when not required

by justice's call

let us find the light

and shine it

a little on all.
