Seeing From The Inside

Updated on October 29, 2013

Easier And Better

As we get older we have developed our own set of values and ideas

That serve us as our guide

We rely upon them for answers and give us a sense of security

There are times when we have to examine our own beliefs

To see if they still serve us well or do they hold us back from our true potential

All my life I have used sense of sight more than any other ability

What if I have been wrong and my sense of sight has been distorted ?

Then many of my views that I believe to be true may be wrong

How do I correct years of knowledge that served as my foundation ?

As I slowly change and take a different view

One that I did not see before

The view that has no sight

That can see farther and knows more

Practice developing and trusting my new instincts

Often contrary to other peoples beliefs

They to have been using the same looking glass

That have brought them to the same conclusion

Going forward nothing is perfect

We keep adapting and changing

Doing the best we can

Enjoying our travels

Because the trip is just as important as the destination

      Hi Michael,

Just wanted to see it proclaimed : Mi= WHO,- cha= IS LIKE, - el=SELF EXISTENT GOD !

The journey is full of surprises, difficult at time, however keeping close steps " following" the path of righteousness,it's safe and always interesting...

      Voted up and beautiful

Beautifully said! Our perspective changes as we grow, and maybe that is just as it should be. For me, it's all about the journey, anything else is a plus, we should make every day count.

      My best to you.

How right you are! The trip is just as important. I always think holidays begin when we leave the house rather than when we arrive at our destination; same thing. Not that life is one big holiday, though it's certainly one big adventure.

It's also true that we can view everything from a different aspect, a different angle and that gives us much better knowledge of the world around us. Great read! Ann

The trip is a blast! I have no idea what the destination will look like, but I am greatly enjoying the journey. Love the message my friend.
