Seeing, Hearing, Feeling

Updated on September 17, 2017

The true spices of our lives, seeing, hearing, and feeling,

Nothing more this world to offer or to be more appealing.

As a beautiful dawning or the golden sun's evening adieu,

The wonderful existence all do share, under a sky so blue.

The whispering of wind, a cooling evening's best delights,

As a sentinel bird calls, announcing the rising silver moon.

Adds magic to another precious day's sounds and sights,

Makes us long for another day, its likeness, so very soon.

Chiling vapors touch faces on the frosty morn, spread so wide,

A white frosting coat both near and far covers the countryside.

The warmth of sunshine on our backs, a cooling shade to share,

Refreshing drink from a cup, the taste of water, beyond compare.

Seeing, hearing, feeling, our senses such a benevolence to be,

The stuff of life, that we all do have, and this gift is always free.

Every creature on this earth shares this most wondrous treasure,

The simplest values we all so receive, greater than any measure.

Beautiful poetry describing the common gifts of supreme nature that we possess in this life to enjoy the life.

Lovely poem, whonu. I especialy could see and feel those early mornings where the frost blankets all, and there is the wait for the sun to melt the iciness to reveal a perfect sunny day.

That's a lovely poem. I like the sunrises when the sun is coming up. It's beautiful to see. I love the pictures you added too.
