Seeking When Found

By Tony DeLorger © 2012

Within, resides the truth unrealised,

stark and open to vision,

veiled only by our fear and ignorance,

and the trepidations of a cowardly soul.

Our seeking often precludes truth,

places it at some distant, unattainable point,

the supposed journey an indication of wisdom,

a deluded pilgrimage to self-awareness.

Yet all is within grasp of a knowing heart,

an honest and selfless soul of intention,

reaching inward to stand before reality,

and to accept it without judgement.

What we seek is often found,

the truth yet to be accepted and denial relinquished,

to know we are with fault, limited,

yet within understanding, of great potential.

Answers cannot remain elusive for long,

their questions non-existent without them,

and so all may be revealed in a universe of balance,

by simple attention.

The truth stands by your side, waiting,

ever-vigilant and affable,

and in recognition, all you need to know is offered,

to a courageous soul.

Answers always reside next to their questions,

for they are twins,

fashioned of the same core,

in a perfect symmetry of purpose.
