September .....Try to remember.....

Updated on September 30, 2011

September have ended.

Summer is completely over,

October has now begun,

where the darkness crept up on us, just before sunset.

I guess I am going to missed September,

so, let me embrace October, November and December

those precious months gone by

we endures lot of pain

and we lived to talk about them....

Here is a piece by my favorite lady... Helen S. R

Livings as we do today in a world of speed and greed,

we are restless and dissatisfied

and we recognize a need for something to alleviate

or constants state of stress,, something that will change dull days

to hours of happiness,

something , new and different to excite our bored existence

which we so foolishly attempt to change with rash resistance

by protesting we're entitled to carnal-minded things,

believing we'll be satisfied with the pleasure thus life brings.

before the sun goes down..

October I welcome you,

so please be kind to us,

we, been through hell and back those passing months

let your beautiful Autumn leaves falls on us,

and reminds us of the pleasures that never grow out and faded

we are just a figurine of all the human forms

white, brown, yellow or green, we are the colors of God creation

so, Mr. October do not add to our worries, but, somehow

let us try by refusing to refuse and let us look for the rainbow in the overcast sky

strengthen our faith and redeem us and bless us... Mr. October.

I love the verse near the end "let us look for rainbows in the overcast sky". I have never been a summer person...I always like fall and winter more (cold weather) but the older I get the more I appreciate all the seasons. This has been a very troubled summer and I think we should look for the rainbows. Wonderful piece. Enjoyed it very much.

Many songs and poems have been written about September. One of the best was The End of September by a Hungarian poet named Sandor Petofi. He was about to join the fight for freedom in Hungary and he asked his young wife if she would visit his grave if he died or would she take on a young lover to replace him. Regardless, he told her, he would continue to love her for all eternity.
