Shade of Memory

Updated on October 20, 2009

One long journey ahead,

Holding destiny in the palm,

And dripping with sweat,

Swallowing chronicles down the threat.

Digesting the past threat,

Summarizing the single span,

Memorizing the versified psalm,

The long journey began,

of laughter, giggles, joys and worries,

Painting on the road, the shades of memories.

Yes...memories...some we wish to forget yet lingers...but nonetheless, it makes us grow...ultimately makes us stronger. I have learned to not dwell on regrets but acknowledge the pain, it's when we can learn to accept that we are able to move forward...
