I saw a boy ran pass me
Then he came back and asked me
“So how it went,
Was it easy or something to repent?”
He then asked “how much money was made,
Was the work fun to do or was it fade”
Then again he struck me by saying
“Were you the boss or the one slaving?”
He questioned again by quoting this
“In the end was it a hit or a miss?”
I then stopped his train and
Asked what he wanted to nail?
Who was he and why was he disputing
Was he trying to play, did he found me amusing?
He then replied “don’t be angry on yourself,
I forgive you don’t be upset”
I said “I am not sorry for me”
Then I asked again who was he?
He said “I am the boy who once used trouble one and all,
I am the one who never feared climbing a tree or a wall”
The boy then ran away from me
His hints had been solved, I knew who was he?
He was a boy filled with nothing but curiosity
He wanted to know what he was going to be
He was no one else but a younger, naive, puzzled yet a better me.
