Shaved Dog, a Poem

Updated on September 13, 2013

Athena Goes to Hollywood

Sky so blue it's blind

tuberose blooming at night...

stucco dreams

Athena goes to Hollywood!

and I am storing up the heat

like a human battery

and dissolving my sorrow

and sin like jello in water

and looking up to breathless

breathless, blue....

Call me! We'll do lunch!

What a great short poem with so many layers and avenues to journey down. Thank you for sharing. Jamie
