She Dances Alone Tonight

Updated on October 13, 2011

She dance alone tonight

She swirls with grace.

And tears fall from her face.

She dances alone tonight.

No one knows why.

The moon shines bright on her

as she moves with the wind.

Time has fozen her in a moment.

She dances alone tonight

and noone knows why.

Her slippers glide with her.

she is no longer in this time or space

She dances alone tonight

and no one knows why.

Thank you every one who commented on this. i'm sorry it took me so lone to reply. @ Fennelseed You may very well know why . Congratulations. It was more than about sorrow. It was about how she wants to feel and be free as well as showing her sorrow.

Loneliness, maybe but I sense freedom. Freedom from restraints, just the wind and the moon and peace. She dances alone tonight and I think I know why. I think I know. Beautiful poetry. All my votes to you, Silent Sinner.
