She Passes Her Way (poem)
She’s coming.She’s coming.
The birds and trees ready themselves with care
She’s coming Come running
Her loyal subjects humbly prepare
Come running She’s stunning
Respectful ones no fear to flare
She’ stunning She’s shunning
-
Shunning is right
As She tears Her way through man’s tiny displays of arrogance.
Going wherever She pleases. She did not cause this dissonance.
-
Stunning indeed
She ruled Her timeless pathways long before these little slugs
Does it really take this to impress man, when flowers impress bugs
-
Running in light
Can’t we see Can’t we recall Why can’t we understand
If we could work and play with Her all might be as was planned
-
Coming our seed
So when She tires of Her toying here and we’re left cleaning up our mess
A thought for those we bring to Her world. For them She too will bless
-
She’s passing She’s passing
She leaves her mem’ry in the air
She’s passing She’s laughing
Comforting thought for those who care
She’s laughing now dancing
That Mother Nature wants to share
