She’s Crying (poem)

Updated on February 1, 2015

She’s crying She’s crying

In darkness relying

Sweet victim of lying

To cover her dying

Her fate she’s denying

She’s crying She’s crying

Pain’s sorrow applying

She’s crying She’s crying

She loved him so

How could she know

His hand he’d show

To make tears flow

She’s crying She’s crying

Her dreams are left flying

She’s past point of trying

More chances applying

What’s real she’s defying

She’s crying She’s crying

For truth left her sighing

She’s crying She’s crying

When love did go

How could he know

What soon would grow

From painful blow

She’s crying She’s crying

With horror allying

From sanity shying

To now she is vying

Her boyfriend now lying

She’s crying She’s crying

In blood he’s there dying

She’s crying She’s crying

So sad. A situation in which only crying will do.

I have known people like that. It happens when least expected.

Mhatter99..we cry when we are happy..we cry when we are sad..we cry when we are hurt..and we cry when we are mad..we cry when we hurt the one who made us cry..but for that we shouldn't even sigh....loved it..nice flow...

Oh, my goodness. The ending is so sad. I think the women in your poems need to give up on love. They all seem to end so tragically!

This poem has nice rhythm and balance. Makes you want to whip out a guitar and start singing the words. She’s crying She’s crying...yeah yeah yeah. Enough said. Thank you Martin.

Hey, that is what happens when you tick off the wrong person.

Guess he won't be lying any more.

Great read, Martin. You have done it again. Congratulations on super

The bloodshed did not end the tears....the sorrowful strains of the video captured well the mood. Sending Angels your way purchasing moments of laughter this morning to share with a friend...

      :) ps

The risk run by choosing the one not born to be a victim. Very fluid read. Always loved the madness of a fellow hatter.
