Shimmer In The Sunlight

Updated on March 22, 2014

Snow flakes fall in the wilderness of a dream
dreams that never awaken the senses.
Love blends in with the bitter coldness
unravels the thoughts of long ago.

Sunshine brightens the heart
secrets buried underneath the sand
Beautiful pearls fall from the palm of her hand.

Waterfalls tumble down
the blue skies pour down tears over
the deserted land.

Underneath the flesh of the sea
the heart murmurs its passions
hidden deep down in the bottom of a
liquid city of love, eyes reveal
the nakedness of the human soul.

Shimmer in the sunlight that peers through the infectious swirl of seafoam.
Awakened in the bubbles of light
frozen icy blue eyes unthaw
from an old world that never
favored life or love at all.
