      moonlake, I used to wear the heels and such. I now stick to all kinds of flat shoes. I especially love all of the decorative flip flops they've come out with.

      Pinkchic, I have to agree, 4 pair of shoes is a little low. I'd say it's more likely 4 pair of shoes per season. For me anyway. They did a study and they say 4 pair of shoes is all that most women admit to buying per year.

      Loved this hub, loved it! (Of course, I love shoes!) The one fact I got real charge out of was that it took shoemakers a WHILE to figure out they needed to make right and left shoes, not both shoes the same.

      dahoglund, I don't think I could wear those skinny toed shoes and I certainly can't wear the high heels anymore. I can't imagine why I ever did wear them. Walking in high heels is a learned art.

      I bought a pair of high heeld cowboy boots once.I thought the narrow toe would bother me but it didn't. However, I couldn't walk in the high heels.
