Shower Hugger - a Limerick

Updated on October 23, 2012
Source

Your shower could last for two people

Told you a few times don’t be wasteful

I lost you, steam too hot

If I stink, so fret not

I will skip my shower just for you.

When you think that he is taking too long in the shower and too much of a waste of water letting it run from the beginning till the end, and if he doesn't heed to your concerns on conserving water, here is one solution and could be the best shower hugger answer…

Making Love in the Shower ♥ ♥ Why not join him?

What a great feeling it is, not just refreshing, but yes, hitting the water pouring all over your flesh being with your mate’s eyes locked mesmerized by your wet looks is just an enchanting feeling.

But don’t have the water flowing all to yourself. Switch places and watch him get wet, water sliding down from his head…to his nose…spreading to his shoulders…his mouth taking some in…and down to his Adam’s apple…to his belly button and you can just imagine the rest. After all, our subject here is how to save water during a shower. And you won’t lose him either, under a cloud of steam because he is right in front of you.

So while your mate is under the spell of the hot shower making his own whirlpool, you just don’t stand there hypnotized. Hand him the soap and whisper in his ear while water is dripping down your eyelids to soap you up all over. Let him take his time, but the water should be turned lower for a soother, softer pouring sound like when you are in paradise and save a bucket or two…then…switch places do the same to him while you are rinsing. Wet kisses in-between, wet skin touching and let the water and steam transport you elsewhere. If I have to continue, with no doubt, this hub will get flagged so I will leave it up to you.

Wouldn’t making love in the shower save you water while both of you are in it together? Just don’t take it too long in there, my friend, or you’ll ruin the whole idea.

…or both your flesh can soak in the tub too…with little candles to bear witness and two glasses of Rosé…

A bit of it, picklesandrufus, lol. Did you get carried away? Conservation on water and conversation 'bout water in an intimate approach, so he will listen and take it seriously, heheh.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you, picklesandrufus!

Gotta keep romance alive in the air...and water, Gypsy...or else the effort in not to waste water in the shower will become too platonic, lol.

      Thank you!

LOL, Mhatter! Of course, who doesn't? :)

I will keep the limericks coming, my maestro! I've never done a limerick before. Your limericks inspired me to try.

Hope they will give more giggles!

So hilarious, Rich! I'm fine with a middle temp for a shower - not cold/not hot (Hot and Cold...both would make me scream in the shower), lol.

My pa taught me a trick when I was younger when back in those days as teens (my brother and I), we make our ma upset for not doing our own laundry on our personal undergarments including the socks. To save time and water and no excuses for not being able to launder our own underwear and socks, he demonstrated to us by putting the socks on on both arms while we soap ourselves all over. This way, he said, will wash our socks all together. And they got cleaned!

That is very true, aviannovice, and one or two people can soak in there forever, lol. Back in the Philippines, many homes like my parents' don't have the shower fixture. Showers waste a lot of water. My ma would flip if the water bill soars! We use a tall barrel or a bin where water is stored and the usage of a handy water dipper. During colder days (rainy season to December), my pa would boil water from a kettle and pour it into the bin (the more a person gets older, the more he can't handle cold water). They don't use a water heating system. Boiled water will suffice and make sure to measure its hotness to a lukewarm touch with the elbow.

      Thank you dear aviannovice!

Thank you xstatic! I think we got to save more water especially that using water in this cold season, means using a lot of heat too. A "Hot" shower does more than just warming up, haha!

I really enjoy your logic! I think this can apply to other savings also. Say… on the heat bill if used outside the shower and maybe even saving gas for the car due to parking in various locations… etc. etc. etc.

Lol! Good morning, my friend Colin! How beautifully you described the sunrise over the beach to me....the sun is laying down a golden carpet...and with the accompaniment of a piano music and double coffee!

You can really save water that way, epi...just go out for a swim, lol.

Taking out my doggie to his vet today. Looks like he sprained his foot. Glad you enjoyed my shower hub. Have a good day! 9:28 a.m.

ivanmarginal, thank you. Fifteen minutes of shower is enough. One hour in hot water, well, that's okay, if he pays for the water bill. :)

.....well Lady Tess I will never think of a shower in the same way again.

And how appropriate to be writing to you at a moment like this - the sunrise has just come out of the east sky and out of the lake into the sky at 7:58am and it's perfect timing to be a humble but grateful guest on your hallowed hubpage.

Listening to some lovely J.S. Bach piano playing by Angela Hewitt and drinking my 2nd cup of coffee and my beach is as wide as a footbal field today with no wind at all - everything here is still (except my beating heart after reading your poetic words here -lol) and the sun is laying down a golden carpet over the sandy beach as I run into the lake to cool myself off after reading your 'intentions' on how saving water in a shower - talk about a golden orgasmic burst of words - well here they are in all of their glory - and here I am - dripping wet - having just come out of the lake on a morning in mid-October - yes I must be a crazy Canuck but I also have good taste in following your hubpage of heavenly hotness .......ooh la la !!!!!!!!! Ole!
