Sick With You - A Poem About a Bad Relationship

Updated on October 18, 2012

A strong sense of longing to fill an empty place

With shadows, with pain, with an empty embrace

To cry and to laugh at the same time and same place

Forcing smiles, fake happiness to hide the shame on my face

Letting go of all light let all dark in this place

I have demons, all those devils that I have to chase

I long for peaceful days, soft silk and rough lace

If I saw you and see you, you will come to my place

You will want me and take me and then lie in my face

I will hunt you, I hate you - Damn my mental place

Took my mind took my soul took my heart to my face

It hurts makes me sick - Ah hell fu** this place

Hi, Krazikat! Great read here. Amazing writing skills and talent you have. Loved every line of this poem that actually came alive by scenes in my imagination. Voted up and away. Glad to have met you. You are very creative. And Im happy to be a fan and a follower if thats okay with you. My Highest Regards, Kenneth Avery, from a rural town, Hamilton, in northwest Alabama that looks like Mayberry, the little town on The Andy Griffith Show.
