Silk of Hidden Stain

Updated on January 8, 2013

Million dollar chandelier---glamorous; what a pearl

A beauty that meets perfection!

Voice like a Christmas bell, she is great champagne

Anyone would adore---but beauty lies, beauty lies

She’s what that cause flame

She’s what that brings shame, a silk has hidden stain

Unfaithful

Creatively written. There are many things left hidden and unsaid. Loved this.

I like the metaphor here, chanroth. We may think that a person has it all, money, fame, and yes, silk...but we do not realize that this person really has secrets and pain to hide. Wonderful poem.
