Sin After Sin

Updated on February 7, 2014

He couldn’t blame it on a physical condition,

sin after sin,

that’s when the guilt came in,

it was a strange way to live,

what advice could the

Catholic Church give,

the same sin over and over,

that was it,

the only sin he would ever commit,

he was a man of grace,

but when he stood in front of a mirror,

the guilt stained his face,

he knew God’s love was immeasurable,

but he was on that holy iceberg,

sitting at the tip,

wondering if God was able

to condone his relationship,

it was his life,

and he was faithful to his neighbor’s wife.

I salute this poem Frank. Honestly. I wonder how he managed to keep his heart intact and live day by day. Surely, tears will come to the rescue..everytime he feel his heart is breaking.

Condone? No, I don't think so. Forgive and offer solace? Certainly. This is different for you Frank and you succeeded very well. I like it.

We are made imperfect , subject to commit sin but we should not end there , we should strive to be a better and moral person . God bless Frank !

      Hi Frank,

Faithful to his neighbour's wife. Where is the husband?

Even a man of grace is not free of sin.

      Voted up and awesome.
