Since I Have Loved You

Updated on December 3, 2011

The music of tumbling waterfalls

Fill me with song,

When I think of you.

The flight of swift wings

Beating a soundless tattoo

Upon the air,

Reminds me of how quickly

Time has flown

When measured in love.

The patterns in the sand

From the seas lacy froth

Are markings of life alive,

Life with you.

I soar in dreams,

Content to land in peace

Within the shelter of your love.

How sweet the taste of gentle rain

Falling as I steal a drop,

The ambrosia of contentment,

By being beside you.

I live with a passion for life,

Refusing to be hindered

By limitations or strife,

And it has always been so,

But more so,

Since I have loved you.

epigramman 6 years ago have put the thought, the practice, the very essence of love on a lofty pedestal - and rightly so - with this simply divine write - and as divine as I would imagine as the person behind the 'pen' .....
