Sizzling Hot Please Don't Stop

For Bedroom Eyes Only

A cold day

Too cold to leave the house

What can we do ?

Watch a little t.v.

Play with our cat

Clean the backroom

You start by cooking a new recipe

I go on the computer

You take over the computer

I start reading a book

Don't feel like doing laundry

I have a great idea

I pull out the portable heater

Point it towards are bedroom

So we can turn the heat way up

It's like a sauna in there

All we have to do is get bare

Then each moment after

Was more exciting than the next

Increasing in passion and desire

When both people are in love

No music needed

Our bodies melt like M &M 's left in your hand

As both of us curl into each other from exhaustion

There was never a plan

We are both completely satisfied

The way things just happened

      Whew - I feel better. I hear news stories about tragic fires started by portable heaters, but they probably involved those older models.

      When I was growing up in Del Rio, there was no central heating. We had open gas heaters, - a free-standing one in the living room on the grate in front of the fireplace (which never had a fire in it) where some of the fumes could escape up the chimney. The gas heaters were built into the walls in the kitchen and bathroom. I guess the fumes just collected in the rooms there. The bedrooms had no heat, so it was fortunate that Del Rio was not extremely cold in the winter. But I loved to warm myself by pulling up my nightie with my back to the heater just before making a dash for the bed. Mother was always cautioning me to be careful. I guess I was fortunate not to have gotten too close.

      Sometimes one heard of someone's clothing getting too close to the open flames in the heaters and catching them afire. Of course, then media was limited to radio and newspapers, so there may have been many more such incidents one didn't hear about.

      Anyway, I'm relieved that you have a modern electric heater with built-in safety features. Plus, it has no dangerous fumes or open flame. That is so good.

      As for the 'other' kind of heat you mention - well, they say it is naturally healthy! (wink, wink) hehe.

      Nellieanna Not to worry I have a new electric heater that shuts off automatically if it falls over. They have come along way.Wow Did the room heat up. Wink ,wink.I thought the firemen were going to come knocking. Thank you for your insightful comment.

      I love the romantic tone of this, but I have to mention that portable space heaters are among the most dangerous things in a house - causing many disastrous fires. They're being cited as being really dangerous during the cold weather now going on. So please, please be extra careful - - (just rely on all that heat generated under the covers. hehehe. And/or get a couple of down comforters to snuggle under and you won't need any other sources of heat!)
