Slow Fades

Updated on January 19, 2017

realizing the music disappeared
is what stopped your wonderful you
your prestige overwhelmed enchanted conversations
disgruntled peers betrayed you
with unusual secrets under the moonlight
honor emerged in divine conversations
you removed your chains & enjoyed your disorder
slumber is not what you prayed for
let the mundane remain equivocal
throwing away reminders of passion
a secret seen by crowds
indistinct centuries stopped short
their movements had little effect
his finger sired the wind
almost worthy of moving mountains
electric lights sparked the fire
invite yourself to live judiciously
powerful pleasures replace pardons
consider which fears reverberate your ideas

Your words are powerful and make me dig deeper for meaning.
