"Slow Shifting"

Haiku poetry should flow like a wind breeze or a running river. It should give inspiration to the reader. Here is one of my haiku poems. I hope this seasonal poem provides you with inspiration to linger over! Enjoy!

"Slow Shifting"

The sun rises in

A hazy sky; hugging the

Valley in autumn.

Icicles drip from

A running fountain among

Trees in winter air.

A red ladybug

Crawls on a holy green leaf

In the crisp, spring sun.

A seagull skims the

Sparkling sea under a

Blaring summer sky.

As the seasons shift,

Wind breezes are different.

Some changes move slow.
