This is one smooth roadie, all right!
Tooling along at over 100 mph along Germany’s autobahn on the long descent from Neuschwanstein Castle to the small town of Füssen and the Austrian border beyond, he casually glances about at his pursuer (some nouveau riche nobody in a Lamborghini, no less).
This cool operator is putting his 1955 Bel Air convertible (“the Hot One”) through its paces. With its long stroke, overhead valve, high compression 265 cubic inch V8, this baby has no problem purring along at road warrior speeds with nary a ripple in its acceleration. Note the relaxed demeanor of this driver, the stylin’ flattop, the cool nonchalance of sweatered arm on door, the bemusedly pursed lips, the mild curiosity at who’s eating his exhaust!
Rev on, my friend, rev on!
