HubChallenge is Kicking my ___ - I am a Desperate Girl at HubPages

Updated on September 25, 2012

HubChallenges is kicking my ___

I cant wait for the next 13 days to pass.

I feel like a whimpering baby complaining so

But how much can I take, I just dont know!

I stay up until 2 am trying to write

I cant think of more ideas - it isnt right.

I think I rhymed two words that will sound the same

I dont even care - this poem is a cheat and it's lame.

I wanted to get to bed earlier tonight

Exhaustion has left me quite the sight.

Money!! | Source

I have black circles under my eyes

My butt has grown at least one size.

Sitting this much at my computer just isnt healthy

But maybe all this writing will make me wealthy!

So this is Hub 18 or is it only 17 perhaps

I wonder how Johnny Depp would look in chaps.

I warned all my friends when times got to be a true trial

I'd throw random lines on Hubs and call them poems for a while.

So this brings me to the end of a short poetic Hub

Please do my ego a favor and show it some love!

(Note: This is supposed to be a funny poem I threw together when I was having trouble coming up with ideas and motivation - please dont think of this as a desperate cry for support - I love all the support I've gotten so far and it pushes me to go on day to day - again, this is just my way of poking fun...I really DO love this challenge...I've learned a lot from it! Thank you all!)

This was absolutely hilarious... it takes some real talent to push something out like this when you are fresh out of ideas... but sometimes it is just what you need in order to really get pushed to the next level. I know you did it just for fun... but kudos!

Hello shuck72 :) thankfully I have the BEST support system that has helped me come up with ideas. I have so many now that I may try the 100 Hubs in 30 days next! Just kidding just kidding…

Triplet Mom! :) Im in the single digits now and I am running full tilt to the finish line. And I promised myself a week off of everything after I hit publish on that last Hub.

Martie dear, I HAVE to reply to my comments – you all are WHY I write. I love all of you and I wouldn’t be able to ignore comments. I feel replying is my way of saying thank you to each of you :) Behind on reading? Oh my word…I have numerous notification emails in my inbox just waiting for me hahah I will get to everyone’s Hubs too… be patient with me! Thank you SO much for the ideas. They’re brilliant! I was just saying up above that I have the BEST support system ever. Love you!

Hello molometer :)I had to laugh while I was reading your comment. I’ve been there and gone through the opening line bit. I’ve even scrapped whole Hubs because I just couldn’t start them! So do tell, have you figured yours out yet? Hahaha

GT, I know where you live and I will bring my bottle and I will… oh, wait. Thank you for reading :P

AA! Two of my favorite male Hubbers in a row! (you and meanie GT) Ha! I will not document the size of my growing behind on HubPages with photos. But you DO give me a good idea. I should make a Hub of women with shape and good booties to show that curves are a GOOD thing. Thanks ;)

Radhikasree, Thank you so much for the well wishes. All of the positive feedback from everyone is more than enough to push me to the end. I CAN do this!

Zzron, thank you for reading :) I love the idea of keeping a notepad with me to write down ideas!! Thanks for the luck.

This was really neato, you can do it! If your having trouble comming up with things to write about, my hub about getting more traffic has a tip about writing down ideas you may have during the day on a note pad as you think of them, hope that helps. Good luck Ardie!

That's what you get for acting on a dare. Maybe now you'll learn. Need a hub idea? How about writing about your butt getting bigger with pictures. May get lots of google traffic.

Hi Ardie, this made me really giggle. I am sure we have all been there?

I was only last night, thinking about an opening line for a book. I went down this route. 'The door opened' No that's no good. 'The phone rang' No that's no good either.

It went on like this for a while lol.

Still didn't get the line ha ha.

Great poem on the writing process. Keep going.

      Voted up funny and SHARING.

Oh, you have all my sympathy. Really, this challenge is a crazy horse. But you're on it and may not fall off. And you are doing good plus you even reply on comments. You are a super-hot-hubber :))

Let me give you some ideas (and perhaps you've already done it... you know how far behind am I with reading - but really I am trying my best :))) These ideas may just give you more ideas...

      Photo-hubs with specific themes - let the photo's tell the story and end with a little poem;

Quotes with a specific theme - or maybe this may be regard as a duplicate, although I've seen a lot of these kinds of hubs, but if you try it, remember to unlink the quote.

20 Reasons why you (or someone else) should be crowned as the most perfect, or crazy, or beautiful....

A list of your favorite songs and why/when.... including videos...

List of your favorite hubbers - with links to there profiles (for readers to follow)...

Replies/reviews on hubs of other hubbers...

I do have more ideas, but I believe these are enough for now.

OMW, I feel like a wreck on your behalf, while I already feel like a wreck, sleeping only 3 hours at a time!

I'm sending you a pot of strong Rooibostee (red bush tea) - made in (only) South-Africa. Oh, and then you can even write a hub about people's favorite 1st drink in the morning. Tea, coffee, juice or whiskey....

:) Your ego, your self-image, your mind and your true self are loved and worthy to be worshiped.

      You are awesome!

And really, Ardie, I never fake compliments. If I find nothing to praise, I will simply be polite.

I'm cheering you: Go Ardie, go!

I can't even fathom trying to come up with a new idea each day. Hang in there though you're doing great. I like how to link other hubber's articles in your own, that's a really good idea I think I will start trying.

Ardie, another neat hub and very funny. You should try stand up comedy. You could call it An Evening With Ardie, The One Woman Show.

Haven't seen you around my hubs for over a week, feel free to visit anytime, you know you are always welcome. You never know you might learn something about how to cure writers block! Ha Ha.

Hello Victoria Lynn :) Thank you for the votes and support! I promise my next Hub is much better – I already have it outlined.

Shimmering Dawn, thank you for the hub love! I took your advice and just let go of writing or planning any writing and took several hours off from the computer and guess what – I got hit with an idea! After venting a little last night I am back on a roll.

Ytsenoh, oh! A vacation idea – love it! Thank you so much :) I had even jotted notes on a fave trip I took with the kids and forgot all about it.

Ian! Walk away from this Hub and ignore anything you just read hahah Seriously, you can do this. I am just feeling a slight bit overwhelmed right now. Or at least I was – I feel much better now after giving myself a much deserved break. I am here to support you the entire 30 days!!

Thank you so much Debbie – I really am having fun –this was my way of sticking my tongue out at the challenge.

aDayInMyLife1 – Thank you so much!!!!! I never even thought about interviewing NEW Hubbers! That’s a fantastic idea. And then in another 6 months I can follow-up and see how things changed :)

K Burns Darling, I will be over to look at your nonsense poems then! Thank you for the votes and the wishes for luck :)

Nuchime, thank you! I always love seeing you :)

Gypsy Rose, Thanks for the vote and yes now I see. And I also remember why I haven’t done it before now… I will look for your poem about Bliss. I could use some right now. Its been very gray here too. Funny thing is this weather cant decide if it wants to be snow or rain! So then Im pelted with big wet raindrops but see big fluffy snowflakes…weird.

Cclitgirl, I’ve decided I need to kick up my workout another 20 minutes OR start typing standing up. I DID read somewhere that sitting too much is awful for your butt muscles heheh thank YOU for all the support you’ve given me too!

Sunshine, Sunshine, Sunshine! YOU are my motivation and inspiration in this Challenge :) 5 more, you’re as good as done now girl. A letter to a chicken?! Oh my…I can’t wait!

Raci, your comment is the funniest I’ve gotten in ages! And you know what – I WILL kick it back :) Thanks for the laugh
