So I May Once More Blossom, Like The Rose to Aviannovice. (Deb Hirt)

A Blossoming Rose

I rise on yet another emerging dawn,

And place my ails and virtues at Your feet.

As such I am now wholly Thine.

I awake with no ecstasy of feeling,

Only a steadfast and abiding Faith.

Let my weakness be transformed into fortitude;

My frailty aligned to the synergy of the sun.

I search for meaning; to transform this veil of shadows,

Into the wondrous Light of Love.

Abide in me, my Beloved.

Nurturing the seeds of my longing,

I shall once more blossom, like the rose.

Do caress and replenish my buds,

So that I shine, like moonbeams,

Gleaming and pulsing with new life.

How I long to flourish,

Drinking Your fountain of living water,

To captivate the magnificence of the Soul!

I yearn for Happiness,

Yet in my aloneness and desolation,

You seem an ever-elusive shadow.

I reach out and summon Your brilliance,

But like an ephemeral flame, You fade away.

Come into my Heart, O vast and sacred Canopy,

Take away this ‘scorching’ sun of darkness;

Flood my Soul with Your Ocean of Peace,

Re-awakening my long forgotten Delight,

To lose myself in Joy.

Exquisite! Words are weaved with so much Love and sweet-wisdom here.

Excellent! I see a couple of poetries on Rose… what’s up Acharaya ji? No lavender or tulips? (smile). Just joking.

As for the poll, it’s to reach for the unknowable. Perhaps that’s what mystic or esoteric poets tend to do. But then, life is a sweet journey... a sweet quest to find your true self.

Have a great day! Hari Om Namo Narayana.

      Thanks Ashish

You can use this one and the second that I wrote for you. Without looking, I think that Nellieanna's and Venkatachariji's are great ones too. Muc Love, my Bro.

      Surabhi,

Thank you so much. You are right, of course. Remember we have to compromise a little as we are trying to serve. Big day soon, eh?

Lavender? Tulips? I love them too. I think that the rose is humanity's favourite, perhaps. Om Shanti!!

Manatita, I slacked during the hurricane. Also, I rarely turn my computer on after work and on weekends. Got burned out. You don't write too much, I just have been taking a lot of me time.

Yes, necessary. I actually asked you before, and you seemed to indicate that all is really cool. Perhaps you could have joined me in Heidelberg. I stayed for 9 days and sat in Silence three times every day for a few hours. You don't have to do this, it may harm you, but in essence I'm saying that to shut things out /take time out, is good from time to time. Much Love, Shauna.
