NPD- Narcissists Waste No Time Targeting New Selections

Updated on July 28, 2017

Poetry and Stories to help raise awareness, and insight, into intrusive, and dangerous, personality disorders, and to encourage healing.

Social Media Narcissist

Facebook, and various other Social Media Sites, are no exception for places where Narcissists might be lurking around the corners, just waiting to ensnare their unsuspecting victims. There is no shortage of vulnerable "appliances" for Narcissists to choose from on Social Networks, especially when the Narcissists can simply go to Facebook Support Sites for "Victims of Narcissist Abuse", and easily find their already-primed and groomed, "sources of supply", so readily available.

Red Rider- Lunatic Fringe

Flying Monkeys

Narcissists Target Victims

You waste no time,

Narcissist,

targeting-in

on your shiny

and brand new

selection;

You administer your

Facebook Group

your book-learned advice,

and your

unadulterated, heroic

protection.

Gaslighting

Lovebombing

With gleaming eyes,

you imagine

their pleasure

as you give them your

malicious, and purposeful,

Love Bombing injection;

All the while,

you will search

their weaknesses,

which you put under

the microscope of your skillful,

and elaborate, dissection.

Things Narcissists Say

Throbbing Egos

While you feign

your charm,

you ponder upon

your dish of such

a fine and unsuspecting

victim-collection;

These poor lost souls

will cherish

your goodly advice,

while you valiantly

sit in the background,

caressing your throbbing ego.

Catfish

Narcissists Groom Victims

You will groom them well

because in store for them

will eventually come

their devaluation

through your major

gaslighting and projection;

Then, you will plan out,

and anticipate,

their final discard,

as you climax at the thought

of their pain upon

your final rejection.

Gaslighting

Narcissists

Trusting Your Intuition

Isolation

      Fullerman, thank you so much for your very kind comment! Yes, the Internet can be a positive thing, but it also can be disastrous if one is not educated on the risks.

      Warm Hugs,

      Tamara

      This is amazing. With technology making it easier and easier to stalk the prey, it really does need to be discussed and made aware for people to see the dangers. Great work, cannot wait to read more.

      So true, Jodah. I write so that my children will be forewarned. I figure that if I write it in a fun poem, they'll be more apt to read it.

      Great work with this Tamara. Online predators are always an increasing problem in this day and age. It is a playground for narcissists.

      You are welcome. I completely understand about the issue of everybody believing the Narcissist because I have had the exact same happen to me. I was left without any friends, due to his cunning lies, and his whole calculated set-up, and he walked away being the hero whom everyone coddled, loved, and comforted.

      That's what makes Narcissists what they are; their horrible abuse is only played out, behind closed doors, where no one else gets to witness the way they set up their victims to be later smeared and abandoned. They feign being "good, caring, and wholesome", but it is the real victims who see all the darkness, and yet no one will believe us because their devious behavior is so calculated, insidious, and all set up this way, so that we won't be believed.

      They even bait us to get the reactions they need, in order to further gaslight us. And, they severely Triangulate, and then turn around, and in a condescending way, say, "You are such a jealous person". And, the people that they use as their Flying Monkeys are very mean, too, and judge without even looking at both sides...they shouldn't even be getting involved, at all. But, they do get involved, and proudly take the Narcissist's side. It's the same dance, it seems, with all of these abusive Narcissists. Same story.

      Glad you are here, but so sorry for what you are going through :-(

      Oh, how true this is. Thank you, I have had one heck of a day from what I found out this narcissist I know, and what she has pulled this time on me. She is blood family and has almost destroyed my life. And whatever she tells her lies everyone believes her. She is so good at what she does. And it is always to hurt others, only they think she is the "Best". She is so cold-hearted. Thank you I needed to read this today.
