So It Was Said, So Shall It Be ( Updated )

Updated on February 25, 2011

Could this be the way

it ends and begins?

Could your eyes render me

any more helpless

in the wind?

A fateful kiss

from inside a storm.

I could never forget it,

a fire was born .

I never had a reason

to believe this was real.

You never told me

that I was awake…

I made a mistake,

threw it away.

God, not again,

please not today.

Beauty hides in the shadows

unveiling revelations.

I unraveled a nightmare.

Yet you dare

to stay here in this world

that ended long before.

Floating in a jagged ocean.

Drawing blood

with every fluid motion.

Collapsing the lungs.

Fear can be so persuasive.

I waited for you.

Your end is belated.

So it was said,

so shall it be.

Roaming freely

in undetermined fashion.

Connecting the dots

to fulfill untamed passion.

Obsession was never so innocent,

so dangerously well-intended.

I would have done anything to defend it.

To send it

far beyond anything

you could have imagined.

Into the depths,

into the caverns.

One day, many years from now; long after I am gone, you shall be among stars in literature. Keep it up and pain, death, love breaks, will make you better. We all need storms to survive. Some just can't understand that and are lost. I think you are on the right path son. Peace and ever learning to you. Charlie, rated up and beautiful

I popped over here to find out what everyone is talking about: a new outstanding writer. You truly are and this is such a passionate, inspirational poem and you clearly have so much talent. Poetry is a way of releasing our innermost thoughts and emotions. Your words are music to my ears. I am so pleased that I found you.

Sligo - thanks for all your support :]

Randy - This wasn't written directly after a heartbreak, but heartbreak is a lingering, and contributing factor in many of the things I write and feel. Thanks very much

Saddle - I am very happy and honored by everything you, and others have been telling me lately. It means the world to me. Thanks for being here to boost my confidence

Ben you are a very passionate writer. Continue to let it flow from your heart and soul, you have many followers reading and watching you grow.

Bring it forth young man and the soul will heal itself with each write. I agree with sligobay about being astounded by how much you have written in such a short period of time. Bravo.

Emotions being stuck inside is a terrible feeling

I NEED release, in this form, otherwise I would be even more insane

Thanks very much for that comment :]

You are a truly amazing writer. I feel a connection with your writing, it is so beautiful and full of emotion. If only I could write half as well as you, all my emotions wouldn't be stuck inside me. :) Very good!

When reality seems too much like a dream, is it real? Can one ever really know? they say all good things come to an end, so it must be so.

Obsession can cut like a knife when you confuse it with love.
