Sometimes... a Tribute to Feelings

Updated on May 2, 2013
Just look around.
Just look around.
Ride a horse
Ride a horse
Happy flowers
Happy flowers
Take a kid fishing.
Take a kid fishing.

Sometimes I feel bad and don't want to rise, and then to face another day,

Sometimes the pressures of life, make you want to leave, just pass away.

Sometimes we all wish for true happiness, and all do pray for better times,

It often does appear, our presence here, is that character, of comical mimes.

Sometimes there are better sunny days, white fluffed clouds dance and play,

The morning's light, betrays the night, and we see the beauty, here to stay.

Sometimes when we are feeling so blue, for there's no better color to be had,

We may just look around, our minds astound, blue sky may chase away the sad.

Sometimes we need a friend, just a pal, to share our best feelings, good or bad,

We may write words in a letter or a book, expressing to all, moods, happy or mad.

Occupying our minds, in just taking a walk, riding a horse, or find a sport, to play,

A well thought out plan, promotes our stand, in almost every thing we do or to say.

Sometimes, there is no more sometimes, for we have all the world, in which to live,

We may soon, love, to find, and in our being so kind, in all that we share and to give.

Sometimes may be as an anytime, for it's what we live by, making all the difference,

Facing the new tomorrows in strong faith and in hope, this to be, likely, a deliverance.

We must have those times where we cater to ourselves and nothing else. Recharging the battery is a necessary part of life. Beautiful work.

We do so much need a day off now and then. God made us that way and after it we feel so refreshed.

Whonu, sometimes it' OK and necessary to step away from the world and it's obligations and expectations. I find when I get the blues, I just step out of the world for a bit and then I'm OK the next day.
