Son to Mother

Updated on February 28, 2016

Son to Mother

I look into your eyes

And

I see more than just

A woman

I see a

Beautiful,

Strong,

Eloquent,

Classy, Knowledgeable

Black Phenomenal Woman

You are the ying

to my yang.

The puzzle piece

to my heart.

My motivation

and

everything I

strive to be.

I will always and forever

keep you in my heart.

I Love You!

A lovely tribute to your mother. Our family relationships are so important.

First I would like to say that there is nothing as beautiful as love shown within a family because it reflects the love of the Creator of the family. It seems your mom loves you and you love her. Nothing can get in the middle of that except a flawed idea of what God says.

My mom loves me but because of her religion she cannot show me that love because her cult will condemn her until I rejoin it, and then she will again be able to show her true feelings.

People tell me that her love is not real, and if it were, it would break through such a man-made barrier. I will be 61 in a few weeks and my mom is no "spring chicken." She is running out of time to break through and I have no choice but to wait to see if it happens. I say to you cherish what God has given you and love your mom and treasure her while you can. Do it for you and for her. The time is so precious. Great poem and wonderful imagery. Bob.

Your mother is truly lucky to have such a thoughtful son such as yourself. And I'm sure your thinking "No I'm the lucky one" beautiful and touching poem.
