Song Lyrics - Just Party

Updated on January 1, 2011

Insane republic
Headline ink, onscreen dot
Not enough soul
The fear is there and all we do is party

No we don't
Yes you do
It don't matter
So... just party

Believe in nothing
Synapse pop, heartbroken lot
The world's so shallow
The fear is there and all we do is party

No we don't
Yes you do
It don't matter
So... just party

Way too many words
No contemplation, stuck in our spot
We reach for our bottle
The fear is there and all we do is party

No we don't
Yes you do
It don't matter
So... just party

What do you think is going to happen when it happens?
What do you think you will do when it does?
Who do you think will care when you didn't?
Who will you be when you realize you were nobody?

No we don't
Yes you do
It don't matter
So... just party

Just party
Just party
Just party

@always - I "always" figure that the real power in our country (money) doesn't really care about things like affirmative action, abortion rights or gay rights. That's for us sheep to argue over so we keep our eye off the ball (money). If they (money) need a job, an abortion or want sex with the same gender they can... it's never an issue for them...

Thank you always - this is just the cynicism of ignoring the world's problems by partying which is exactly what the people who control everything want us to do...
