Songs From The Heart: You Raise me Up.

Updated on October 20, 2012

A journey surrounded by inspiration and beauty.

Source

You are my saviour

On stormy seas I walk

Until I am that person whole.

x

Rivers flow from my open heart

Another day another dream fulfilled.

I walk through a wilderness of thorns

Seas pound against shores so true

Evermore my faith for thee.

x

Might obstacles but mightier steps

Eternally I love thee so.

x

Until my strength shines through for you

Precious gifts ;precious hearts;precious unconditional love.

Haiku:Faith And Hope Flow.

Those mountains conquered

Each heart to stand united

As faith and hope flow.

Freeverse:Your majestic strengths.

Sometimes high

others low

that

yo-yo life

so cruel

so crude

so sharp

in its owners.

My story will not be told

in the future

through condescending tones

pitiful

and

savage

to and fro

up and down.

Manic situations

so cruel their grips;

through wonders so rare

through days sometimes

bleak

a slither'

a silver feather

of hope

of faith

fulfilling

enticed

by you.

You raise me up

over those seas

to conquer each high ground

to finally

claim

our empowering summit.

A summit soaked in

hope

faith

and also a summit

so deserved

so needed

so cocooned

into a silence

encompassed

in your newly found glorious

majestic strengths.

Your gains!!

You raise us up to more than we can be!!!

Source

Rhyme:My New Being Now Born.

A soul so weary

A heart so tired

Those strengths will flow

Your spirit admired.

x

Each hunger afresh

Each mountain anew

Until my heart tasted

The sweet morning dew.

x

You showed me the way

I conquered each day.

My heart will not fail

I trust in your say.

x

Each sea I will walk

Each mountain I'll climb.

You carried me high

I felt the sublime.

x

Your sure raised me up

To ride each rough storm.

My thanks so eternal

My new being now born.

Source

Rictameter: My Thanks.

My thanks

For strengths anew

Great heights see me shine through

You are my heart my soul my all

I walk on great heights of those pastures new

Your strength shone through and filled my heart

Those great heights now blossomed

You raised me up

My thanks.

Beautiful poetry and photos, especially the collage by Dai.

The Josh Groban video was also beautiful. Whenever I hear him sing, "You Raise Me Up," I get chills.

Voted this hub up across the board except for funny.
