Sonnet XVI. Humans are Different from Bats

World's lone sonnet grandmaster. Shakespeare's Sonnet 1 describes him as “the world’s fresh ornament and only herald to the gaudy spring."

How nice and healthful to sleep early;
you wake up early and refreshed.
A lack of sleep is quite unhealthy;
you're sleepy, sluggish and depressed.

Man wasn't mean to be nocturnal
nor live a lifestyle that's infernal.
We should be resting well at night;
by daytime basking in the light.

But then it is another matter
if you work night shift. Get my drift?
I hope your schedule too would shift.

Although it's true we may discover
a lot of lessons in the dark,
it is no picnic in the park.
