I'm a journalist and writing is my passion & my profession. As a graduate of Media and Mass Communication Studies I'm writing online.

After getting divorce she became relaxed. Her unpleasant marriage life came to an end. Now, she was living her happy and comparatively peaceful life.

She was divorced after 10 years of marriage. Sophie’s husband was so punishing. He was addicted to wine and so many other drugs. Sophie gave birth to a baby boy but couldn’t survive and died after 2 months. One year later Sophie gave another birth to a baby girl. Amber was 9 years old and was alive.

Sophie’s husband Smith was not interested in her but concerned to punish her severely. He abuses her in routine life. Whenever he wants, he kicked out his wife from his home. After lots of hard work when Sophie saves little money, he snatches from her forcibly.

Their divorce was held many years before because there was no chance for their patch-up. It was only Smith who was dragging the relationship and not getting separation. Another reason was that Sophie has no other family member in her life. Her parents gone died just after marrying their daughter with Smith; it was like they were just a live to tie the knot of their daughter. It was like they were willing to marry their daughter with a man like Smith. She has few relative but they have no concern with each other. Maybe later they purposely decided to stay away from her life.

What nature of person is smith, her parents knew everything. They knew it very well that she’ll spend her tearful life with Smith. But they decided well just to shift their burden to Sophie’s shoulder, as her shoulders were not able to bear the burden.

It was not her choice that she wanted to get divorce so that she can marry to a comparatively gentleman. She never thought to get marry once more. She knew nothing that after getting divorce what she’ll do? She even never supposed about it. In fact she was in thirst to have a peaceful life, because she was fed-up with routine of physical abuse, mental torture and assault. Whatever it was going to happen in her life, she was all ready for to tolerate with even if worst circumstances.

Do you believe Smith will become a gentleman at the end of the story?

There was no bonding between Smith’s and Sophie’s relationship from day one. When Sophie became here in Smith’s house as a bride, divorce chances were brighten enough. At the end of the day she was tired of praying for Smith, “may he come to the right path”. At that time she started praying for her end or her husband’s dismissal, when he was not coming to the right path. When all her prayers gone in vain, she started begging in front of her husband to leave her and forgive her and to get separation. What an irony one day Smith fall in a love with a 15 years elder women to him, she was living in the same town. She asked and forced him to divorce Sophie and even he didn’t ask for the 9 year old daughter, either he wants it or not. Though she was always afraid if her husband divorces her, he will not let her daughter to live with me. At least now she started feeling some peace in her life. Sophie took a small place on rent and on the go to live in a heaven (what she assumes). [Continued…]
