Soul Stains and Deepend Scars

Updated on July 29, 2017

It has made me who I am today

It has taught who I should stay away

Broken was never impossible to fix

Troubled sometimes and emotional in the mix

I grew from the standards to battle my own

I took the embarrassments and conquered it's throne

I choose to walk a different path because of what I learned

These scars were not given but they were earned

I choose to be more quite and watch the world carefully and to observe

Never knowing when another attack may occur

Sit back and watch as we lose the peace within our souls

We keep turning away from what matters which is not very bold

The devil walks the path of the ones he can lead astray

I have once walked that path to my very own dismay

I survivor I am because I put all my trust in You

To lead me in this world through and through

You never gave up on me no matter how much I failed

Certain things you went through like the cross which Thy was nailed

Thank you for never leaving me to walk alone in this earth

You have been by my side since the day of my birth

Exactly, we can only learn from our mistakes. Thank you Flourish.

Embrace the scars and the process that brought you to where you are and where you want to go. Nice message in this poem. None of us is perfect.

Lovely. Always remember this--God knew who you would be, what you would do, the mistakes you would make, the sins you would commit. Nevertheless, He loved you so much that He made you anyway.
