Souls: A Poem

Updated on July 14, 2014

We walk on different paths,

Rocky, winding,

Keeping our eyes straight ahead,

We hope for the future,

Perhaps we'll bump into each other,

Our paths and souls tangled, intertwined,

Maybe we'll hold hands,

And travel the road together,

Or maybe just keep going alone,

Our paths running parallel,

As we walk into our destiny.

How I was relishing this beautiful poem and suddenly it all stopped with sudden brakes ! Wish it were a little bit of long journey ! Nonetheless, it was all very fantastic and wonderful.

Harishprasad: I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sometimes my poems are a little short, because I'm ready to move on to the next one. I'm trying to write 365 poems in 2014 and I don't have a lot of time to finish them. I can only write on certain days of the week when I'm not busy. Thanks for reading!

I love the images here, they compliment your words beautifully. The poem may be short, but you definitely got your point across. Great writing!
