Sound waves: a poem

Updated on April 21, 2014

Sounds tickle my ears,

Like a whisper caressing my brain,

A cacophony of words,

A symphony of poetry,

Full of love, grace, and truth,

Dancing in the air,

Waiting for an echo or reply,

Hoping for the wind to carry it far,

At midnight it reaches my lonely soul,

It holds me close,

Reverberating around me,

Letting me know I'm not alone,

I sing along to the rhythm of the words,

Provide harmony to the world's phrases,

And the universe's symmetry of sound.
